This Privacy Policy is incorporated in and forms a part of the DNA Romance User Agreement, as amended (the "Agreement"), between DNA Romance LTD ("DNA Romance", "us", "we" or "our"), the owner and operator of https://singldout.com/ (the "Site") and the DNA Romance mobile applications ("Apps"), and you ("you" or "your" or "user(s)"), a user of the Site and/or Apps (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains and governs how we collect, use, share and retain information and data through your use of the Services.

FOR CERTAINTY, BY ACCESSING, USING OR DOWNLOADING ANY PART OR WHOLE OF THE SERVICES, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO OUR COLLECTION, USE, SHARING AND STORING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT ACCESS, USE OR DOWNLOAD ANY OF THE SERVICES.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" is information that can be associated with a specific person and could be used to identify that specific person whether from that data or other information that DNA Romance has or is likely to have access to. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific person, whether in combination with other information or otherwise.

DNA Romance has taken rigorous steps to ensure compliance with all applicable privacy laws, including the general data protection regulation (GDPR).

2. Informatieverzameling

Algemeen gebruik: We verzamelen, verwerken en bewaren informatie van u en eventuele apparaten (inclusief mobiele apparaten) die u gebruikt wanneer u: een account bij ons registreert; informatie aan uw account toevoegt of bijwerkt; deelneemt aan gemeenschapsdiscussies, chats of geschillenbeslechting; met ons, andere gebruikers of derden communiceert in verband met de Services; transacties plaatst of voltooit met behulp van de Services; of anderszins toegang krijgt tot, gebruikt of downloadt een deel of het geheel van de Services. • DNA en/of genetische informatie;

• Inhoud van uw communicatie via de diensten;
• Financiële informatie (zoals creditcard- of bankrekeningnummers) in verband met de diensten.;
• Informatie met betrekking tot de prestaties van de diensten die je ervaart; en
• Informatie die u verstrekt via webformulieren, gemeenschapsdiscussies, chats en geschillenbeslechting.

(b) Automatische verzameling: Door het gebruik van de Diensten kunnen we automatisch informatie verzamelen over hoe u de Diensten gebruikt, de gebieden van de Diensten die u bezoekt, als well als informatie over uw computer of mobiele apparaat, zoals uw internetprotocol (IP) adres, apparaat-ID, fysieke locatie, type browser en besturingssysteem, resolutie van uw scherm, taalinstellingen in uw browser, verwijzende URL's en andere technische informatie. Deze informatie is noodzakelijk voor het bieden van gepersonaliseerde en locatiegebaseerde inhoud en diensten, als well als voor het analyseren van webverkeer, het oplossen van problemen, het voorkomen van fraude en het verbeteren van de Diensten.

(c) Gegevens van derden: We kunnen gegevens verkrijgen van derden. We beschermen gegevens die we van derden verkrijgen volgens de praktijken die in deze verklaring worden beschreven, plus eventuele extra beperkingen die door de bron van de gegevens en toepasselijke wetten worden opgelegd. 1. DNA Romance is therefore not subject to any confidentiality obligations with respect to the Feedback;

8. om frauduleuze of illegale activiteiten te detecteren, te voorkomen, te beperken en te onderzoeken, wat zonder beperking de handhaving van onze Overeenkomst (die dit Privacybeleid omvat) inhoudt.

Als u DNA-informatie aan ons verstrekt, direct of via een derde partijdienstverlener, blijft u eigenaar van deze informatie en materialen. Alle afgeleide materialen die we produceren met betrekking tot deze informatie, zoals de resultaten van een compatibiliteitszoekopdracht, zijn eigendom van ons, mits dit afgeleide materiaal geen persoonlijke informatie bevat en anders anoniem is.

4. Online Dating Safety

DNA Romance does not perform criminal background or identity verification checks. Always exercise caution when interacting with other users:

1. Anyone who is able to commit identity theft can also falsify a dating profile.
2. There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you.
3. Never include your last name, e-mail address, home address, phone number, place of work, or any other identifying information in your dating profile or initial messages. Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or attempts in any way to trick you into revealing it. Use the block feature if someone bothers you, and do report their profile if there is any evidence of a dishonest profile.
4. If you choose to have a face-to-face meeting with another member, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Never agree to be picked up at your home. Always provide your own transportation to and from your date and meet in a public place with many people around.

5. Informatie openbaarmaking

(b) From DNA Romance To Other Users: When interacting with another user, the other user may request and we may provide them with your Personal Information as necessary for the ordinary use of the Services, such as your chosen username, or dating profile details. The other user receiving your Personal Information is not allowed to use such information for purposes unrelated to the transactions or services engaged, such as to contact you for marketing purposes, unless you have expressly consented to it. Contacting users with unwanted or threatening messages is a violation of our Agreement. Other users may be provided Personal Information about you that is necessary to facilitate the ordinary use of the Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will not disclose raw DNA information with other users, but will only disclose the results of our compatibility assessment derived from such information, and only if we have determined there to be a reasonable likelihood of compatibility based on our proprietary algorithm and assessment. For certainty, we do not publicly display your raw DNA information.

(d) DNA Romance Reorganization: We may also disclose or transfer your Personal Information to an affiliate or a third party in the event of a proposed reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of DNA Romance's business, assets or equity, including, without limitation, in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding. In connection with same, your consent to the Agreement (which incorporates this Privacy Policy) is deemed transferable to the benefit of DNA Romance and its assigns, without notice to you.

(e) Wettelijke openbaarmaking: Subject to applicable laws in your jurisdiction, DNA Romance may also disclose Personal Information about you to others as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law or regulation, including laws or regulations outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process, respond to legal claims; (c) to respond to requests from public authorities and law enforcement officials, including officials outside your country of residence; (d) to assist or support theft investigations involving our Services or property; (e) to enforce the Agreement (which incorporates this Privacy Policy); (f) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (g) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of DNA Romance, its affiliates, you and others; or (h) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

DNA Romance follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Any such links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by DNA Romance. DNA Romance is not responsible for the content of such linked third-party websites or applications and does not make any representations, warranties or guarantees regarding the content or the privacy practices of such third parties. For certainty, DNA Romance disclaims any liability associated with your access to, use of, download of, or reliance on, such third-party websites or applications and their content. If you decide to access, use or download any such third-party website, application or content, you do so at your sole risk.

Cookies

We may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, or other similar tools on our Services or in our communications with you to help personalize and maximize your DNA Romance experience. We may also engage one or more third party service providers to provide online advertisements on our behalf. We may use, or authorize the use of cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or other similar technology to collect information about your visits to the Services, and we may use that information to send you targeted advertisements.

The Services are not intended for, nor does DNA Romance knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under the age of eighteen (18), we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. If you are aware of a user under the age of eighteen (18) using the Services, please contact us immediately.

DNA Romance retains Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. Because these needs can vary for different data types in the context of different products, actual retention periods can vary significantly. After it is no longer necessary for us to retain your Personal Information, we dispose of it in a secure manner according to our data retention and deletion policies. We are not responsible for any liability or loss you experience as a result of our disposal of Personal Information.
